The first WORTH kick-off meeting took place at the Institute of Geonics of the Czech Academy of Sciences on 20th – 21st April 2015. The meeting was attended by the members of the WORTH international team from the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Germany, Croatia, Serbia. The meeting focused on the scope, realisation and objectives of the Danube Region START project. During presentations and consequent discussion, the problems related to the design of a new chirurgical tool for bone cements extraction, which should be presented at the international conference of Water Jet 2015 taking place from 6th to 8th October (Czech Republic), were discussed. The tasks for individual members to be accomplished till the next meeting taking place from 7th to 9th June in Prešov (Slovak Republic) were specified in details.
